Women's Prison Ministry

The commitment of the Women's Prison Ministry is to provide an outreach for women ex-offenders, and, in particular, those with children. Our goal is to assist them in their transition back into society and help them in their realizing their God-given potential.

Our ministry focuses on God's word, which says that we are mandated to be aware of social consciousness and concern for others. We provide assistance through various aspects of ministry, i.e., visitation, communication, provisions, Bible study, evangelism and fellowship. In addition, we also work on behalf of family members, friends and children who are affected by
incarceration.

“...I was in prison and YOU came to VISIT me.” Matthew 25:36

Meet the Prison Ministry Leaders:

Marion Gary, Leader
The Holy Spirit has laid a burden on my heart for these women and children. I count it a privilege as well as a blessing to be used by the Lord in addressing this most important need in our society in whatever way that I can! I am always conscious of...but for the grace of God...there go I!

Natalie Newson, Teacher
I consider myself a work in progress, my opinion is not important, nor is my opinion the authority. It is the Word of God that has provided me with direction and given me hope. It is nothing I have done; it is because of God’s grace and what Jesus the Christ did just for me that I am without charges. I consider it an awesome privilege to share God’s Word with others. My desire is studying and teaching the Word of God, which allows me to spend more time in His presence.
